Longboard Carve Performance

The Method ZC Truck is a performance truck built specifically to give the rider a free flowing carving sensation.  The Method ZC truck utilizes our patented geometry and Kingpin/Hanger Cap technology that forces our trucks to pivot on an artificially high angled roll axis.  The result is an unbelievably surf like flow with incredible agility and highly controllable response.

Hi-Tech Cruising

The Method NC design is new technology truck built specifically to take advantage of a well known racing enhancement called a Negative Camber Angle (NC). Camber angles are used in the design of performance vehicles like the Formula 1 and drifting motorsports rides shown below.

In combination with our Method Velocity NC wheels, boards set up with Method NC Trucks carve hard, slide with ease and naturally self align to aid in the reduction of speed wobble.

Technically speaking, Wheel Camber angle is the angle between the vertical axis of the wheels and the vertical axis of the kingpin when viewed from the front or rear of the board. If the top of the wheel is farther out than the bottom (that is, away from the kingpin), it is called positive camber; if the bottom of the wheel is farther out than the top, it is called negative camber or NC.  If there is no camber angle it is called zero camber or ZC.

A Negative Camber angle alters the handling qualities when cornering. This happens because it places the wheel at a more optimal angle to the riding surface, transmitting forces through the vertical plane of the wheel, rather than through a shear force across its face. For boards that have zero camber, the inside edge of the wheel begins to lift off of the ground when turning thereby reducing the area of contact. By applying negative camber, this effect is reduced, thereby maximizing the agility of the board.

Because the Method Velocity NC wheels and Method NC truck take advantage of an exaggerated negative camber, the carving sensation is pure.
